In the meantime, I'm reading.
not with my fingers, will anything be left behind
for if that is the soul motivator
Show the only omni theater trick you know.
I've sea and ocean full of non entities
not for nothing and the energetic entrails follow
but silent at her feet. In silence too, she speaks.
and so the story flowed from the rooftop of his menthol capacity.
his uneven caption of the scene could do no more
then even a pathetic attempt to scratch, carve,
an image, eventually basic, into the puny eyeballs of the youth.

What might have been lost?
What might have been lost?
ideas
Quick! with your hand
leave them all behind
the snow on the mountain
the cloud in the sky
On the way back,
I blinked,
like the T encircled
while mustached heroes
spoke of their destination
and beautiful listeners
created beautiful memories.
each one a little dirty
I’ll dream of you,
I promised.
but black divided by gray
equals= ALL is ALL
and misty minutes drove me
they dictated my every action
attention, my Capital
first I need a drink
She writes in coloured pencil?
a different for each mood?
I pretended it was you
but it wasn’t
it was someone beautiful
an overboard presence,
just a picture,
pause enough
know that the "I"
is not alone
there is someone.
someone who might
be able enough to
understand if not
then my opinion:
All is Doomed.
But there are too many
beautiful hands here,
Now here with your hands,
leave them all behind.
I was in Chile. After a day trip to the the mountains in early spring. A long day of hiking, sledding, and enjoying some iron infused natural heat springs. There were five of us in a small pick up truck. The ride up was cramped and a little bit sweaty. My girlfriends brother and I elected to sit in the bed of the truck rather than squeeze back in.We winded our way down, through little extremely rural villages, past higher pastures with their cattle and Huasos. Max listened to Bob Dylan on his headphones, I listened to Max signing along. We left a trail of dust in the dirt road as the sun set over the powerful Andes. It was some time ago, a couple years. But for a flat-lander from the Cape, it's not a memory that will fade any time soon.
Where does the snow on the mountains
become the clouds in the sky?
When is going to a foreign country
no different from going home?
what might have been lost?
simply the view of le bleu
the sky hides from me
I’ve left lives behind
I’m simply living away.
life is too short
to see so many lives walk
consistently, constantly, cautious
What might have been lost?

Whence Birds of Prey
then was something unlike today
sleepless at first
now a headful of awareness
for the skin I shed was careless
then I found my thirst
my 'desperate, fevered thirst'
the memory of an old emotion
to reawake an old devotion
align my heart, put pen in motion
she's
whence I turned,
and from there faced the edge
of my reasoning
sleepless at first
now a headful of awareness
for the skin I shed was careless
then I found my thirst
my 'desperate, fevered thirst'
the memory of an old emotion
to reawake an old devotion
align my heart, put pen in motion
she's
whence I turned,
and from there faced the edge
of my reasoning

New Year, New Baby, New Book, New Blog.
New Beginnings all around.
It's been a hectic few months. I've been balancing the holidays with preparing the house for the coming baby, house projects and side jobs on top of a normal work week, getting my poetry chapbook together and printed, and a gift of MineCraft and a copy of Donkey Kong Country. I've been busy. But now the baby's here (It's a girl) and I'm planning on taking the next week off of work to stay with our new addition as she gets used to our world. With any luck I'll be able to get after a couple of the items on the to-do list and make it out to local bookstores to attempt to sell some books. I'm also hoping to figure out this blogging thing and maybe set up something here that could be really beneficial to me. I don't have the internet at my house so this is going to be sort of on the back burner for a while. But I'll try my best to keep up with it and to socialize with it. That's it for now. Awkward first post is in the books I guess.
